A Religious Symbol that Isn't a Cross
I'm not religious at all, so the plethora of crosses that crop makes me shy away from certain prints (despite how technically BEAUTIFUL the print is drawn or how nice the dress looks) It's a personal thing, but I just have trouble wearing them ;_; BUT, if you're okay wearing a cross simply for aesthetic, why not other symbols? Ankh, Star of David, Pentagrams, should all be fair game right? As long as it's done respectfully, I'd probably go with a Norse, Shinto, or Wicca symbol myself ;3

Jellyfish
Just more of these in general please. I've seen maybe one or two prints that do the drifting balloon of the sea justice, but.....MORE! Throw some mermaids in too while you're at it. Here is one by Haenuli I've had my eye on for a while. The only thing with this print is from farther away it's hard to tell that they are actually jellyfish! Still lovely:
Motifs from Different Cultures
I've seen a few pop up from time to time, be it a cool Egyptian style one like on the right (check out her blog btw!) or even Lolita that incorporates Hijabs or African style prints and head pieces. We've already fully accepted Wa-Loli and Qi-Loli as branches of the style, so let's keep working to expand and try new things! I know that some people will have issue with cultural appropriations, or styles like this perhaps looking to costume-y, but I'm planning to get into that on another post ;)
